No Networking after upgrade from FreeBSD 9 to FreeBSD 10
When upgrading from FreeBSD 9 to FreeBSD 10 the interface names are changed due to the installation of Xen drivers which will cause networking connectivity issues.
In FreeBSD 9 major versions, you can see the interface names located in the configuration file /etc/rc.conf.
They are labeled em0 and em1.
After the upgrade to FreeBSD 10 major version, you will need to go into the configuration file /etc/rc.conf and change these interface names.
em0 should be changed to xn0.
em1 should be changed to xn1.
With this change networking will become operational again.
